Linking Policy

This policy applies to tribes.capital and our community portal and any subdomains (together, the Site).

Purpose

We include links to support member education and ecosystem collaboration. Links are provided for convenience and information and do not mean we endorse the linked organisation, its products, services, or opinions.

A. Links from our Site to other websites (external links)
1) No endorsement; you leave our Site

When you click an external link, you may be leaving our Site and becoming subject to the external site’s own terms and privacy/security practices. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of external sites.

2) How we choose external links

We may link to external sites where we believe the link is useful and relevant to our mission (clean energy, project delivery, governance, and investor education). Typical considerations include whether the site is:

  • relevant, useful, and complementary to what we publish;

  • reasonably accurate and current;

  • clear about who sponsors/owns it and any conflicts or commercial intent;

  • accessible and usable (where feasible).

3) What we won’t link to (or may remove)

We may refuse, remove, or decline to link to sites that, in our view:

  • contain unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, hateful, discriminatory, or abusive content;

  • promote violence, scams, or unsafe/illegal activity;

  • are primarily designed to mislead, manipulate, or spread unsubstantiated claims;

  • are clearly outdated, broken, or unmaintained;

  • request a link mainly for SEO manipulation or link schemes (rather than genuine user value).

4) Reviews and link checking

We may use automated and/or manual checks to review external links and can remove or replace links at any time without notice. If you find a broken or inappropriate link, email compliance@tribes.capital with the page URL and the link in question.

B. Links to our Site from other websites (linking to us)
1) You can usually link to our public pages

You may link to our public pages without prior written permission, provided your link:

  • is not deceptive or misleading;

  • does not imply we sponsor, endorse, or approve you or your activities; and

  • is presented fairly and in context.

2) What you must not do without written permission

You must not, without our written permission:

  • use our name, logo, trademarks, or brand assets (except where we provide an official “press/brand kit”);

  • frame, mirror, or embed our pages in a way that makes them appear part of your website or service;

  • link to, expose, or attempt to bypass member-only, login-protected, paywalled, or restricted areas (including investor pages, dashboards, or documents);

  • use links to our Site in paid ads, affiliate offers, or promotions that suggest guaranteed outcomes or create pressure to invest.

3) When we may ask you to remove a link

We may request removal of a link to our Site at any time where we reasonably believe:

  • the linking context is misleading or harms our reputation;

  • it implies endorsement or partnership where none exists;

  • it is used in connection with unlawful, harmful, or deceptive activity.

If we ask you to remove a link, you agree to do so promptly.

C. Requests to add your link to our Site

We don’t accept money, services, or “link swaps” in exchange for links. If you want to suggest a link, email compliance@tribes.capital with:

  • the exact URL,

  • a 1-2 sentence justification (why it helps our community),

  • who owns/operates the site,

  • any commercial relationships or sponsorship disclosures.

We may decline without explanation.

D. Legal notes
  • This policy sits alongside our Terms of Use, Disclaimer/Risk, and Privacy Policy.

  • External links are provided “as is” and do not create any partnership, agency, or endorsement relationship.

Governing law: England & Wales (unless mandatory local laws apply).
